4Site Studios is seeking a web-savvy Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of multiple web development projects. You will work with a tight-knit team of talented engineers and designers, who are passionate about using the web to communicate, interact, entertain, and “get stuff done.” 

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing multiple AGILE technical projects in a fast-paced environment.  As the primary customer contact, the ability to translate business priorities into technical requirements and convey each simply for both clients and the internal team is critical.  This is not a government job heavy on documentation and red tape.  You will be working with many clients and making quick decisions on a daily basis, so the ability to prioritize and multi-task is vital.

You will be responsible for: 
  • Collaborating with developers and business clients to create and design websites,
  • Assisting in capacity planning across all projects,
  • Managing work and release schedules for multiple projects simultaneously from conception through launch,
  • Understanding the client’s project needs and communicating them to all parties involved,
  • Ensuring projects are implemented according to requirements and launched according to agreed schedules and budgets,
  • Keeping business owners up to date on project status and potential issues,
  • Resolving project, design, or resource issues before they cause schedule delays, and
  • Overseeing localization (geographical and language) and QA process for sites as needed.
We’re looking for someone with: 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through including the ability to plan work, organize time, and maintain workflow,
  • 3+ years managing technical projects with client (internal or external) facing responsibilities,
  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate internal and external dependencies and conflicts,
  • Experience with AGILE Project Management Methodologies,
  • Understanding of software development process: development, testing, and deployment as well as work breakdown, dependencies, responsibilities,
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and all levels of staff, and
  • “People Person” skills who is comfortable working with small teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Strong Pluses:

  • Expert in AGILE/SCRUM or other production methodologies,
  • Experience managing, designing or developing websites,
  • Experience with CMS (Content Management Systems), especially Drupal,
  • Experience managing subcontractors,
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, Adobe Creative Suite,
  • Familiarity with Data Analysis systems (esp Google Analytics) and methodologies, and
  • A solid understanding of the technical and design principles of web production work.
