APLU Webcast

The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities is a non-profit association of public research universities, land-grant institutions, and state university systems with member systems across the US. On October 13, 2011, 4Site webcast a live event for the organization’s release of their Discussion Paper on Common Core State Standards and Teacher Preparation: The Role of Higher Education. The video crew used advanced equipment and a dynamic perspective set up, covering multiple angles of the event. Combining these with embedded slides directly into the broadcast, 4Site leveraged technology to give off-site audiences a live window into the paper’s release event. Immediately following the event, 4Site also posted an archival version of the video on Vimeo, which was ultimately integrated into group’s website.
