Pre-Populating Forms Across Domains
Our Work
As part of our retainer work for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, we came up with a novel solution to pre-populate their donation and activism forms with a supporter’s information, even when that person visits different PETA-managed websites. To accomplish this, we created a cookie that persists in the user’s browser as they surf across the multiple websites, even though cookies are usually only valid for a single domain or subdomain. Submissions increased up to 30 percent on some of the CRM forms.
